We are seeking an experienced VP of Product Management to lead the company’s strategic product initiatives as it enhances its existing customer solutions and expands its reach into new markets.
We are looking for a dynamic product leader who can build high-performing product teams and drive innovation, including integrated AI/ML or other capabilities that will leverage our unparalleled repository of fine-grained surgical (and other procedural) workflow data.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software product leadership, understand lean product methodologies, possess a deep understanding of the medical ecosystem, have passion and curiosity for customer/market discovery and opportunity validation, exhibit the capability to generate innovative solutions, and be driven by an entrepreneurial mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with our business goals within the surgical workflow capacity management and related domains.
- Define the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with market needs, technology trends, and competitive differentiation.
- Prioritize product investments based on ROI, customer value, and strategic alignment.
- Serve as a thought leader and evangelist for the company’s products and vision, both internally and externally.
Team Management & Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and grow a dynamic product management team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Serve as a key liaison between the product, engineering, and clinical teams to define opportunities and translate complex requirements into actionable plans.
- Partner with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure timely delivery and adoption of highly differentiated products.
AI/ML Integration
- Drive the research, ideation, and development of product requirements for AI/ML features, integrating advanced analytics and machine learning to enhance surgical management processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful implementation of capabilities that add strategic and clinical value to our product suite and measurably improved outcomes for our customers.
Market & User Insights
- Conduct a range of continuous discovery activities to identify evolving customer needs, emerging trends, competitor capabilities and strategies, and new opportunities for product innovation and expansion in the healthcare
- Continuously engage with customers, users, and key stakeholders including clinicians, administrators, and other clinical staff to gather insights and validate product concepts and designs.
- Translate market insights into actionable product features and enhancements.
Product Leadership & Management
- Oversee the development, delivery, and lifecycle management of product solutions that span the evolving needs of surgical and procedural customers.
- Institute lean internal processes & tools to facilitate ideation, design, requirements, buy/build decisions, business case rationalization, planning, development, launch, and lifecycle management of products.

- Support sales and customer success teams in their customer acquisition efforts.
Qualifications
Experience
- 8+ years in product management with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership B2B preferred.
- Healthcare domain experience, especially EHR and/or surgical domains. Must possess an understanding of the medical ecosystem, terminology, and privacy requirements such as HIPAA.
- Demonstrated success in setting product strategy and leading cross-functional teams for software products.
Leadership Skills
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills with a track record of building and retaining high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data into actionable strategies.
- Ability to connect with diverse stakeholders, from C-suite executives to frontline users.
Technical Skills

- Experience in researching, defining, and launching AI/ML-driven product features.
- Experience in the healthcare domain with proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
- Experience working with complex platforms that integrate with external systems.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant field. An MBA is a plus.
