Jeffrey Robbins: Founder, President, CEO
Jeff has led the company and served as its strategic and technology visionary since the company's founding in 1991. A passionate software innovator, Jeff led LiveData's early successes in manufacturing data acquisition and delivery at Ford, General Motors and Boeing. He extended LiveData's appeal to other markets, particularly the electric power industry, by supporting a broad range of industry protocols and offering an open architecture solution for real-time data integration. In 2003 Jeff propelled LiveData into the healthcare market, winning a US Army SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) Phase I award and joining CIMIT, the Center for the Integration of Medicine and Technology, where LiveData has led data integration for the Operating Room of the Future. Prior to founding LiveData, Jeff was CEO and founder of Cambridge Authoring Systems. He has served as Co-Chairman of CIMIT's Plug and Play Medical Device Communication Standards Working Group, as Senior Technical Advisor to the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, and on the US Advisory Board to the ISO & International Electrotechnical Commission. Jeff earned an AB in Philosophy with Honors from Harvard College.
Charlie Berg: Vice President Engineering LiveData & LiveData Utilities
Charlie Berg is Vice President of Engineering and brings more than 35 years of experience in software development and management. He has actively engaged in building and leading teams that have brought more than two dozen new technology products to market in the fields of healthcare, energy management, design & manufacturing, financial services, and entertainment. Charlie has served in senior technology positions at Vantage Commodities, Medical Informatics Unit at Boston Medical Center, Cadence Design Systems, and was also co-founder of the broadcast services company, Music to Go, LLC. He holds a BSEE and BA from University of Pennsylvania and studied Artificial Intelligence at MIT. Charlie spent 40 years as a professional musician, and lectures on Jazz Improvisation Techniques in Agile Development, and enjoys sailing.
Brad Harkavy: General Manager LiveData Utilities
Brad Harkavy is the General Manager of LiveData Utilities. He leads business development, strategy, and overall management of the Utilities business. Brad brings extensive executive-level experience growing public and private industrial and high tech businesses. Through his executive positions, advisory, and board work, he has successfully accelerated ideas and technology into innovative products and services for over 20 companies, including BPG, CoolChip, GrabCAD, GSI, Purchased, Sagewell, SMTP,Teradyne, and Vert. Brad holds a BSEE from Carnegie Mellon University. He enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with his family, occasional triathlons, and mentoring start-up and growing companies.
Matt Churchill: Vice President Healthcare Sales
Matt joined LiveData’s executive team as the Vice President - Healthcare Sales charged with expanding the company’s healthcare market share. Matt brings a combined clinical and healthcare sales background that focuses on delivering solutions to meet the customer’s needs and preferences. Matt began his career as a licensed physical therapist earning his B.S. in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut. He then transitioned into a successful sales career in both the pharmaceutical and medical device industries winning several performance awards during his tenure. Matt enjoys spending time with his family, playing ice hockey and golf.
Charles Trocano: Corporate Controller
Charles Trocano has worked in the financial divisions of both international and U.S. data acquisition companies since 1997. He joined LiveData in 2001 and assumed responsibility for both finance and administration. Charles holds an AB from Harvard College, and an MA from Tufts University.
