LiveData OR-Dashboard displays Timeout to provide access to information pertinent to the safety pause phase of the case. The screen itself is divided into various panes, each of which provides different types of information. 1. Patient/Procedure Information: This section contains information such as patient demographics including name, age, weight, and MRN, the procedure and laterality, and information pertaining to the type of anesthesia. 2. Staff: The staffing list provides information on who is in the room, populated by a real-time location tracking system. 3. Allergies: The allergies information is persistently displayed throughout the case, highlighting the importance of this information. Allergy and data source are displayed. 4. Timeout Pane: The timeout pane provides two prominent types of information: Physiologic Information: Physiologic information is displayed along the left side of the pane, providing real-time trend information for physiologic data including heart rate, oxygen saturation, and blood pressure. This pane provides a "zoomed in" four minute time period and an extended sixty minute period of trend data. Timeout Information: The timeout checklist provides a listing of timeout items from MGH's timeout protocol, highlighting information such as procedure, site and laterality, site marked, and consent.
Timeout Information Once timeout information is verified and the timeout has been completed, the timeout checklist will provide a visual representation that this stage in the process is complete. It will also document by whom the timeout was completed, along with the attending anesthesiologist and surgeon present for the case. |
