Jeffrey Robbins will examine the potential impact of today's technology on the perioperative work environment, focusing on how quality improvement processes can be designed into the infrastructure.

Learn how LIveData OR-Dashboard facilitates OR communication, teamwork, and perioperative nursing tasks, such as timely administration of antibiotics and timeout procedures. The dashboard displays relevant information on the patient and operation on a wide screen in the OR—automatically and in real-time. 

 

Recommended Practices/PNDS Demonstration Booth
Learn aboout new changes to AORN's Recommended Practices (RP) and the Perioperative Nursing Data Set (PNDS), a topic that is currently featured on LiveData's New Frontiers. The PNDS, the only standardized nursing vocabulary that addresses the perioperative patient experience, can be integrated into perioperative electronic documentation systems.
