Jeffrey Robbins: Founder, President, CEO

Jeff has led the company and served as its strategic and technology visionary since the company's founding in 1991. A passionate software innovator, Jeff led LiveData's early successes in manufacturing data acquisition and delivery at Ford, General Motors and Boeing. He extended LiveData's appeal to other markets, particularly the electric power industry, by supporting a broad range of industry protocols and offering an open architecture solution for real-time data integration. In 2003 Jeff propelled LiveData into the healthcare market, winning a US Army SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) Phase I award and joining CIMIT , the Center for the Integration of Medicine and Technology, where LiveData has led data integration for the Operating Room of the Future. Prior to founding LiveData, Jeff was CEO and founder of Cambridge Authoring Systems. He is Co-Chairman of CIMIT's Plug and Play Medical Device Communication Standards Working Group, Member of the US Advisory Board to the ISO & International Electrotechnical Commission, and Senior Technical Advisor to the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. Jeff earned an AB in Philosophy with Honors from Harvard College.

Michael Zola: Vice President of Sales

Michael joined LiveData as an account executive in 1994, led the company in sales performance for five years and was promoted to the position of sales vice president in 2000. In the years since, Michael has continued to develop outstanding customer relationships, grow the account base, and build alliances with leading vendors and integrators. Michael brought an entrepreneurial background to LiveData, having created and successfully operated his own restaurants for many years. Early on, Michael worked in the construction industry and was Purchasing Manager for CWC Builders. Michael attended Wentworth Academy in Boston, and is an avid golfer and collector of coins and antiques.

Philip Brzezinski: Vice President of Healthcare Systems

Phil has led LiveData's Healthcare Systems business since January 2004. Phil was previously Director of Advanced Products at Timex Corporation and simultaneously served as CEO of Beepwear Paging Products, LLC, a Timex and Motorola joint venture. In these roles, Phil was responsible for developing and marketing Timex' line of advanced wrist instruments including heart rate monitors, wrist pagers, GPS, RFID and PC data communication watches. He partnered with leading companies on these award-winning products including Microsoft, Garmin, ExxonMobil Speedpass and Yahoo! Phil also led Timex' world-wide IT efforts for 2 years during Y2K and established and directed Timex' world-wide R&D software product development centers from 1991 to 1998. Phil received a B.S. degree in Computer Science and an M.B.A. degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

John Hotchkiss: Vice President of Research and Development

John Hotchkiss is an executive with over 15 years experience building and managing technical organizations in software, Internet, and Life Sciences businesses. Most recently Hotchkiss served as the VP of Product Development and Chief Technology Officer of Perceptive Informatics, the technology subsidiary of PAREXEL, a global biopharmaceutical services company. Prior to Perceptive, Hotchkiss held executive positions in the biotech startups AnVil Informatics and EnVivo Pharmaceuticals. From 1999 to 2001 Hotchkiss served as the VP of Engineering for the Lycos network, overseeing technology development and quality assurance for the fourth most visited network of Internet sites in the world. He has also held engineering and management roles in Apple Computer’s Advanced Technology Group, and at Symbolics, the MIT Artificial Intelligence Lab spin-off. Hotchkiss has a bachelor's degree from Harvard University.

Charles Trocano: Corporate Controller

Charles Trocano has worked in the financial divisions of both international and U.S. data acquisition companies since 1997. He joined LiveData in 2001 and assumed responsibility for both finance and administration. He holds an AB from Harvard College, and an MA from Tufts University.
