LiveData Historian™

LiveData’s real-time archiving solution is a secure and flexible high performance tool for capturing, storing, finding, and playing back LiveData OR-Dashboard data. Because it combines data and video, LiveData Historian™ is particularly valuable for training and education.

Data, Voice, and Video Synchronization

LiveData Historian synchronizes voice, video, and still images with information from LiveData OR-Dashboard. For the first time, it's possible to view the video of a surgical procedure while observing patient status. LiveData Historian shows physiological trends, for example, running in perfect synch with the recorded operation.

LiveData Historian will interface to popular video logging and voice recognition applications. Surgeons and other team members are therefore able to use natural speech  to bookmark specific points in surgery. A voiced word such as “incision” later becomes a search parameter for retrieving all information and images associated with that particular surgical moment.

Precision

LiveData Historian records at a resolution suitable for capturing waveforms—in milliseconds. When working with retrieved information, surgeons and other clinicians are assured of an exceptional degree of playback accuracy.

Business Intelligence

Because it captures operational metrics, LiveData Historian also supports data extraction for business intelligence. Analysis of such fields as OR scheduling (delays), progress events (elapsed time by procedure, by surgeon), and staff (changes) provides clinicians with a foundation for measuring OR efficiency, strategizing for improvement, and meeting pay-for-performance objectives.

Advanced Querying

LiveData Historian will support advanced querying, which makes specific details simple to find, replay, and compare. Search parameters include a vast range of data elements, such as surgeon, patient name, antibiotics, fluids, temperature (room and patient), critical OR events, patient allergy, and physiological readings.
