IHE 2008 North American Connectathon; Chicago, IL; Jan. 28–Feb. 1, 2008

When: January 20–February 1, 2008

Where: Hyatt Regency, 151 Wacker Drive, Chicago, Illinois

Feature: Patient Care Domain

The Connectathon, the centerpiece of the IHE testing process, is the healthcare IT industry's only large-scale interoperability testing event.

LiveData will be participaing in the Patient Care Devices domain, confirming interoperatibility of LiveData OR-Dashboard with incoming data from physiological devices such as vital signs monitors, infusion pumps, and ventilators.

The Connectathon allows participating companies to test their implementation of IHE capabilities with corresponding systems from industry peers. During the event their systems exchange information with systems from multiple vendors, performing all of the transactions required for the roles they have selected, called IHE Actors, in support of defined clinical functions, called IHE Integration Profiles.
