LiveData Presents to CardinalHealth Surgical Services Summit; Sept. 24, 2007

LiveData was invited to present its technology and company vision to many of the leading surgical centers in the country, at the AORN/Cardinal Health Surgical Services Summit in New York City, September 6-7.

The focus of the September Summit meeting was a tour and discussion of the Wall of Knowledge, a comprehensive visual integration solution for presenting essential patient information. The group toured the Wall of Knowledge installation at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where 21 operating rooms are equipped with the LiveData software.

CEO Jeff Robbins presented for LiveData, describing the implications of visual integration for the perioperative process and in creating safer, more efficient operating rooms. Audience interest was strong, leading to a stimulating question and answer period after the presentation.

The CardinalHealth Surgical Services Summit convenes OR directors from the nation’s largest surgical centers.  Every six months the group meets to learn from one another, to communicate with key suppliers, and to discuss perioperative nursing professional requirements with representatives of AORN. Participants included representatives from such leading institutions as NewYork-Presbyterian, Barnes Jewish Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Johns Hopkins Hospital and Swedish Medical Center.
