Awards from Mass Technology Leadership Council Recognize  OR-Dashboard’s Contribution to Surgical Patient Safety

Cambridge, MA, July 6, 2007—LiveData, Inc. [www.livedata.com], an innovator of real-time
integration and data visualization technology, today announced it has been named as a finalist in
the Mass Technology Leadership Council’s 2007 Technology Leadership Awards. The company,
whose OR-Dashboard improves patient safety and workflow in the operating room, was
recognized in the category of Emerging/Innovation Technology Developer.

LiveData OR-Dashboard integrates information from diverse hospital information systems,
physiological monitors, and medical devices, providing a single, real-time view of patient
information throughout surgical procedures. The technology is considered an essential element in
creating the Visually Integrated Operating Room, wherein all members of the surgical team have
access to the same, comprehensive picture of the surgical case, updated in real time.

The Technology Leadership Awards honor Massachusetts companies and individuals who best
exemplify leadership and excellence in business and technology. Finalists were selected from a
field of 180 candidates by the Council’s Board of Trustees. A separate panel of judges will select
the winners that will be announced at the Awards Gala on October 18 at the Westin Copley
Place.

“Our technology is saving lives in operating rooms at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center,
Massachusetts General Hospital, and other installations across the country. It is an honor to be
recognized right here in Massachusetts, home to so much important medical and information
technology,” said Jeffrey Robbins, founder and CEO of LiveData. “Improving the quality of
healthcare is our great passion, and the whole LiveData team honored by this achievement.”

“The Mass Technology Leadership Council is committed to fostering entrepreneurship and
promoting the success of companies that develop and deploy technology across industry sectors
and these awards are an important part of this effort,” said Joyce Plotkin, president of the Mass
Technology Leadership Council. “These honorees represent the spirit of innovation, the history
of accomplishment and the future promise that define the Massachusetts technology
community.”
