Please join us at the joint workshop on High Confidence Medical Devices, Software, and Systems (HCMDSS) and Medical Device Plug-and-Play (MD PnP). The workshop provides a forum for the presentation of research and development covering all aspects of high integrity medical devices, software, and systems. This work  supports innovative networked medical device systems in order to improve safety and efficiency in health care.

The purpose of the HCMDSS/MD PnP workshop is to provide a working forum for medical device specialists, including researchers, developers, and caregivers, from clinical environments, industry, research laboratories, academia, and government, with the goal of advancing science, technology, and practice to overcome crucial medical devices, software, and systems issues and challenges facing the design, manufacture, certification, and use of medical devices.

This is HCMDSS/MD PnP 's first jointly sponsored conference (NSF and TATRC) and also its first joint conference between their two academic centers—Mass General Hospital/Partners HealthCare and the University of Pennsylvania.
