Features: LiveData exhibit at TATRC booth #1430: The Visually Integrated OR When: May 13–15 Army Telemedicine Partnerships in 2007: Hospital of the Future When: Saturday, May 12 Where: Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center; Room: Governor’s Ballroom A (Ballroom Level) The U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command, (USAMRMC) through its Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC) will once again sponsor an open, one-day meeting exploring the potential applications of technology and innovation, which could be utilized in the future hospitals or have an impact on how future hospitals are designed. The theme of this one-day meeting is "Hospital of the Future". Specific topic areas will include future imaging, operating room of the future, patient safety, and informatics. Presentations of these innovative technology efforts by Army managed investigators will be accompanied by presentations from international experts focusing on innovative technologies which will enable healthcare providers to provide the best and safest care possible to our military and civilian patient population.
